Adventures in the Alps has launched what it describes as a ‘ski safari’ holiday for winter 2011-12.
The company’s Big Ski Trip package gives experienced winter sports lovers the opportunity to visit up to ten resorts over a period of six days.
Guests will be led by a professional mountain guide and transported from their luxury chalet, Maison Caramel, to various skiing destinations in the Tarantaise valley, including popular hotspots such as Val d’Isere, Meribel, Tignes, Courchevel and La Plagne.
The resort will be chosen each day depending on snow and weather conditions.
Visitors will have opportunities to ski on- and off-piste and also make the most of a free day to explore at their own pace.
Arrangements such as acquiring ski passes and booking restaurant tables for lunch will be made in advance.
Other highlights of the package include apres ski with afternoon tea and cakes at the chalet and opportunities to try out the property’s sauna and tuck into three-course meals with wine.
Adventures in the Alps is offering the Big Ski Trip twice during the winter 2011-12 season – from January 22nd to 29th and from March 4th to 11th.
Trips are limited to a maximum of 12 people and start from £1,800 per person, which covers seven nights’ accommodation, breakfasts, airport transfers, equipment hire and a 24-hour concierge service.
